Interested in Attending a Meeting?

We normally meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at various restaurants in the Jacksonville, Florida area.  Dinner and social time begins at 6:30 pm; our meeting starts at 7:30 pm.

 

If you are interested in attending a meeting, and would like to know where we are meeting next, please contact one of our board members or message us on Facebook.

 

Occasionally, we may meet in a different area, depending on what the program for that month may be, but will always be noted on our Facebook page.

 

The club also provides its members with a monthly newsletter sent by email (or via postal services), jam-packed with interesting articles, recipes, upcoming events and much, much more!

Application Process:

1. ​Your application may be submitted (with two club member signatures) after appearing on the guest roster at one of our monthly club meetings.

   • Click the Member Application button above to download and print a membership application.​

   • If you have any questions regarding the application process or information about the German Shepherd Dog Club of North Florida, Inc., please feel free to ask any officer or club member.

   • Each person included in a family membership must fill out a separate application and appear on a guest roster.

2. Submit dues with your application.

   • Single, adult membership dues are $25 per year. Family Membership adds $15 per additional adult living in the same household 

   • Junior membership is free for children ages 10 through 17.

3. Your application will be read at the meeting following its receipt. Your name, interests and the names of your sponsors will be published in the monthly club newsletter.

4. Your application will be voted on at the following meeting (no less than two months following your appearance on the guest roster). Your application must be accepted by two-thirds of the present and voting members.

5. Applicants accepted for membership will receive notification from the Secretary within ten days after the meeting confirming your acceptance.

 

All new members will receive a copy of the Constitution and By-Laws and a current membership list within thirty days of acceptance into the club.
