This club was incorporated on December 9, 1981 in the State of Florida. However, it has been in existence since 1959. 

 

Our purpose is to:

• Foster the breeding of better German Shepherds, as well as educate the novice Shepherd fancier.

• Encourage and participate in conformation shows, obedience trials, and other public exhibitions of the German Shepherd Dog.

• Help displaced German Shepherds find loving homes, and to further acquaint the public to the German Shepherd Dog.

This club is a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA), our parent club, and the American Kennel Club (AKC).

 

Members of our club are involved in a variety of activities with their German Shepherds including conformation shows, nose work, obedience competitions, agility, herding, SAR (search and rescue), Schutzhund, therapy and service dogs and recently dock diving! If there is something fun we can do with our dogs, we usually have members doing it!
